One of the recurring challenges faced by small business owners is growing their businesses beyond doing all the work themselves. And for those owners who do make the step up to managing people, a new challenge arises: how to manage managers.
At Violand’s Executive Summit, you’ll acquire the management skills you need to develop yourself and your people so that you can successfully run a small business.
CUSTOMIZED TRAINING
Most of the national training companies offer seminars to help business owners develop leadership and management skills. However, since people from any industry can attend, these programs are generic, they talk theory, and some provide only a cursory overview of the topic.
Violand’s Executive Summit is different.
We offer intensive management training that’s geared especially for small businesses…and customized for the cleaning and restoration industry. In fact, Violand’s Executive Summit is the only accredited, college-level curriculum for our industry. We offer professionally developed programs that eliminate the non-essential “fluff” and get right to the hard-hitting, practical materials you need to grow your business successfully.
INTERACTIVE EXERCISES
Each of the facilitators we’ve chosen for the Executive Summit understands that the people in our industry are active—we don’t sit for eight hours, and we certainly don’t want to be lectured to for eight hours. So, you won’t just sit through the classes. Be prepared to roll up your shirt sleeves and apply yourself. All of our course offerings involve interactive exercises and deal with real-life scenarios encountered in our industry so you can go back to your office and effectively put into practice what you’ve learned.
FOLLOW-UP TELECONFERENCES
Another great benefit is that the learning doesn’t stop when the Summit ends. Every six weeks, during July through November, you’ll participate in four teleconferences with each of your instructors. These conferences will help you get the most out of your classes, applying your learning experience directly to specific situations in your workplace.
SMALL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT DIPLOMA
At Violand’s Executive Summit, you can earn a diploma in Small Business Management by taking five required and three elective courses. But you don’t have to come for a diploma. You can choose just the classes you want, for as long as you want.
CEC APPROVED
IICRC will assign two (2) Continuing Education Credits in the cleaning/restoration category to attendees who complete their two courses.
Be sure to sign the IICRC Sign-in Sheet at the Registration Desk. We will forward this sheet to IICRC after the Summit so they can apply the credits accordingly.
